Biography

Hadi Jamali-Rad was born in the city of Lahijan, a major tourist hub in northern Iran. He received a B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST), Tehran, Iran, in 2007 and an M.Sc. degree in Communications Engineering from the IUST, Tehran, Iran, in 2010, with the Highest Honors. In the past, he has been a member of the Wireless Communications Laboratory (WCL) in the School of Electrical Engineering at IUST. He is currently a member of the Circuits and Systems Group at the Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), Delft, The Netherlands, working towards the Ph.D. degree.

Mathematical foundations to develop large self-organizing networks based on cognitive radio devices that are capable of sensing the radio spectrum and adapt accordingly.
