NELSIS IC Design System (TU-Delft)

There are two different releases: NELSIS Release 3 uses a simple database model (without cell versions, etc.) for its tools.
It is still in use for the Space System and Ocean System and therefor supported by the Space Team.

NELSIS Release 4 is also called the NELSIS CAD Framework, it was a research topic of DIMES.
It intends to be, an open-ended software infrastructure for the integration of design tools.
It uses an extended database model (object versions, metadata, etc.) and use special tools to maintain the object data.
It is not supported by the Space Team.
