Hi! I'm Mario

I work in the field of signal processing and my main interests lay in numerical linear algebra, array processing, detection theory, submodular optimization, kernel methods, graph signal processing and large-scale networks.

Before starting my PhD, I spent a great year in Denmark doing room geometry estimation with Richard Heusdens and Martin Bo Møller at Bang & Olufsen. As intern, I worked on Information Geometry with Radmila Pribic at Thales . Not long ago, I was an undergraduate at University of Guadalajara, Mexico.

If you are interested, here is my old website.

Writing

On my free time, I enjoy writing. I'm not particularly good, but I keep on doing it. I maintain a site, but most of the content is not public -so it might look outdated. I write mostly snippets, hope you find them interesting.
